01 / The evolution

From modernization to a true sequel.

What began as an effort to modernize the original game grew into a much larger new experience.

Floorball League 2 is being built around online multiplayer, cross-platform architecture, 3v3, 56 Training Center exercises, My Character, persistent progression, management systems and a redesigned presentation.

It preserves the competitive identity of the original Floorball League while moving the franchise forward with new AI, rules, gameplay systems, controller support, characters, animations, arenas, audio and continued PC and console development.

02 / FIONA technology

Our engine for the next generation of FIJOY games.

FIONA stands for FIJOY Integrated Object Network Architecture. Our in-house engine and production framework powers Floorball League 2’s rendering, assets, interfaces and tools.

It replaces fragmented legacy technology with one modern foundation for rendering, interface, content, tools and platform support. The floorball simulation players remember remains at its core.

  1. Modern materialsPhysically based materials deliver more natural surfaces, equipment, glass, fabric and arena detail.
  2. Dynamic presentationReal-time lighting, shadows, reflections and modern image processing give every venue greater depth and atmosphere.
  3. Faster loadingOptimized resource handling, shader preparation and loading paths reduce interruptions and improve consistency.
  4. Built to scaleA shared engine, editor and content pipeline supports higher-quality assets, broader hardware support and future FIJOY projects.

03 / Playable foundations

07 / In active development

What we’re building next.

These areas are already taking shape, but still need more content, testing and polish before they are ready for players.

Online

EOS multiplayer

EOS-based online play begins with direct competitive matches. Broader parties, ranked services, friends, moderation and resilient reconnects will expand the experience.

Management

Coach Live

Coach Live brings together career simulation, contracts, transfers, scouting, staff, training, medical systems, lineups and tactics.

Party

Minigames and Cup

The growing arcade side includes three minigames and a Floorball Cup flow, with more games, multi-controller support and saved Cup progress planned.

Long term

Characters, referee and commentary

Character, referee and commentary work broadens the personality and broadcast atmosphere of every match.

08 / Roadmap

Early Access is the beginning.

Each milestone moves forward only after stability, rights clearance and player testing support it.

  1. Now

    Core polish

Performance tuning, save compatibility, long-session stability, content review and continued gameplay polish.

  2. Before launch

    Closed Beta

A select group tests the intended Early Access scope, reports issues and helps validate performance, online play and progression.

  3. Public target

Epic Games Store Early Access · October 2026

The planned base price is US$19.99. The exact date and launch scope will be confirmed when the Epic submission and review process is far enough along.

  4. Other storefronts

    Windows, Xbox and Steam

Windows and Xbox development continues. The Steam release remains delayed while FIJOY works toward a standalone Steam product for Floorball League 2. If that standalone Steam release proceeds, qualifying customers who purchased Floorball League 2010 will still receive the Steam version at no additional cost.

  5. During Early Access

    Content and system expansion

More arenas, leagues, teams, players, customization, achievements, party play and a deeper management experience.

  6. Later development

    Characters, commentary, online and consoles

Improved rigs and models, female characters, voiced commentary, broader online services and planned console editions follow once each area reaches production quality.

The first Early Access build will include the systems that are ready and polished. We will confirm the launch date, platforms and final feature list closer to release.
